44 Thousand People Can't Be Wrong!
Fresh from the rush of seeing Fireworks in all of their grandeur and put to music. I can honestly say one of the few times of the year I get all choked up deep inside when I hear Lee Greenwood's 'God Bless The U.S.A.' blaring over the sounds of pyro.

Mere moments after watching the Rangers put a beating on the Rays. Three years removed from taking pictures at the Ballpark postgame, I had the camera at the ready. There was a great 25 minute procession of music and colors on Independence Day. It was great to just relax and take in all the sights.

24 hours removed from Kaboomtown, I felt rather spoiled at my good fortune this evening. Since 1974 it seems that my life revolves around baseball and fireworks. My only regret about this day was being a split second too late when the 4 F16's roared overhead before the 1st pitch.
I was also mad at myself for not being able to hear the Lou Gehrig speech be retold in raising ALS awareness. Otherwise the 100 degree night was tolerable, the winning streak makes me smile, and the fact we celebrated a day for those who once made freedom possible, need I say more?
More pics on the Facebook side.
Rain for later today? We need it!
