Quite a Dizzying Finish!

Punch drunk might be one way to describe the finish in Arlington yesterday. In 94 degree heat there was a 13 inning affair for the Rangers and Blue Jays. Josh Hamilton with a huge contribution on a 1-2 count with Texas trailing by a run. After a drought of going deep since his 4 homer affair in Baltimore on May 8th home cooking has been more than amenable for Captain Whammy Hammy.

That Was Some Cruz Missile!

Of course this will be a historic weekend in Arlington. Sunday the 27th will mark the 23rd home date the Texas Rangers have played. They will also surpass the 1 million mark for fan attendance. This is the fastest Texas has hit that mark in their history.
